The Colorado Audio Society has always been the heart and soul of RMAF. It is hard to believe that RMAF 2016 will be the 13th year of this show! When my husband, Alan, died in 2009, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue RMAF. The Colorado Audio Society, my family, advisory board and various friends in the industry stepped up and convinced me that we could continue. Our original mission of creating an international, affordable and welcoming trade show is only possible because of our volunteers.
Over the years our volunteers have expanded from the original CAS crew to encompass friends from all over the world. The volunteers are a gift to all the exhibitors and attendees. Their vast knowledge of the audio industry and willingness to share this knowledge enhances the RMAF experience.
The volunteers wear the RMAF brightly colored t-shirt every year so they are easily recognizable. If you are interested in becoming an RMAF volunteer, all you have to commit to is a friendly, pleasurable attitude and a commitment to one four-hour shift during the weekend, and to wear a smile along with the RMAF t-shirt.
According to CAS President, Brian Boehler, your smiling faces, helpful attitudes, and friendly demeanor have helped make RMAF the “best show there is”.
Thank you, Marjorie
